Don't ever stop with the footnotes. They are golden!

So much of this resonated with me. I just started reading "The Future of the Professions: How Technology Will Transform the Work of Human Experts" by Richard & Daniel Susskind, and it feels related. They claim that the vast majority of lawyers, accountants, and professions will be replaced soon with technology. I feel that the retraction we need to see in mortgage regulations may come as a result of an overall reduction in lawyers, accountants, and bureaucrats.

As a lawyer myself, I've been reflecting on what this means for the future of my career. So far I've concluded that those that who successfully navigate this change will be the ones who don't lament the loss of perceived safety and instead can find liberty in their self-determination.
